Kamchatka, Russia: Fly Fishing For Wild Rainbow Trout, Salmon And Steelhead
Posted by fliesandfinswest on Tuesday, February 28 @ 20:51:45 PST
Kamchatka, Russia I am told is a killer place to fly fish. I have been thinking about making the trip. I have even done a little research on prices and it does not look too expensive. The flight to Kamchatka look pretty easy to set up too. I hear that it is one of the best places in the world to find wild rainbow trout and salmon. Has anyone fished there? Are there steelhead?

I remember him saying that the helicopters they use to get you in the back country are really old and scarry. On the other hand the photos he brought back with him were out of this world. Beautiful fish and killer scenery. The cost for the whole week for him was around 4g's for the week. |

But I like fishing in places where there is danger of injury. However, I prefer danger from snapping rods on heavy fish! |
