Washington State Chum: Just A Hole Over Until Steelhead Start
Posted by fliesandfinswest on Sunday, November 26 @ 08:38:37 PST
This time of the year, the rivers in Washington State are full
of fish and fishermen too. Although this year,
with all the rain, most rivers blown out.
However, many of the Inlet creeks have become a reliable source for excellent fishing regardless of the tide, or high-water else ware.
For myself I look forward to
fishing A-KEY-DA Salmon as a warm up for steelhead.
A-key-da salmon are some of the hardest fighting fish
that I’ve fought. I prefer a seven weight fly rod and seven floating
line for these fish. These fish are peaking in Washington State between October and January. They are a blast, and by the way we still call them Chum
out here. Tight lines and fish on!
