Cane Or Graphite: What Rods Do You Prefer?
Posted by Deschutesboy on Tuesday, April 03 @ 12:22:10 PDT
In fishing, just like everything else, you want to try something new. I've been fly fishing for close to 7 years now and I've gotten to use a couple of well hand-crafted cane rods that just make me grin like a kid in a candy store. My question to you fly fishermen which do you prefer?

Re: Cane or Graphite: What Rods Do you Prefer? by gc4279 on Tuesday, April 10 @ 23:48:42 PDT | I've only fished with a cane rod a couple of times and really enjoyed the mental aspect of it. By that I mean it felt cool to be fishing what felt more "traditional". Maybe it's because I have not fished with one enough to get the feel of useing a cane rod but the thing felt awefully heavy at the end of the day.
